Spinach Salad

FOR THE SALAD:
  • 1 package fresh spinach
  • 1 head butter lettuce
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 1 can water chestnuts, chopped
  • 3/4 cup bacon, crumbled
FOR THE DRESSING:
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  •  1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Combine dressing ingredients and blend until smooth.  Set in fridge for 1 hour.

Add dressing just before serving.
